My why……. Why not, the challenges, what you learn the self-development is amazing it drives me every day to grow and improve.
What is your business elevator pitch?
My name is Amanda business owner of 2 small business Indulge Hair Lounge & Maws & Co (let’s talk Maws & Co)
I loved being able to open a small business in Nedlands selling Perth local and Australian products.
We offer complimentary gift wrapping.
We opened 11th November 2018 as we are a new business we can’t wait to stock more local products and grow even bigger & better.
Share a unique business challenge you have experienced, and how you overcame this?
When I took over the salon 3.5 years ago it was a shutdown salon (7 weeks prior) to taking over.
My challenges were…..what clients do we have left, where have clients gone to get there hair done in the meantime and how much damage has the last owners done to the business.
We had a massive challenge that lied ahead.
3.5 years on a busy successful business & 5 amazing staff WE DID IT.
What’s got you “edge-of-your-seat” excited in your biz right now?
The growth @ indulge is going gangbusters and Maws & Co getting the name out there growing the business, what works and what doesn’t its all apart of the journey.
What is your favourite biz resource at the moment?
My control freak diary I’m a new subscriber (hurry up April) & Asana a platform for myself, Pa & bookkeeper to keep track of our workload & upcoming projects.
